Cacao Granola

Naturally sweetened with maple or agave syrup and ready in 20 minutes, this cacao granola makes enough to take you through a whole week (excludes snacking). So now you can fuel your day with a crunchy, satisfying blend that supports brain function, aids digestion, and boosts overall well-being. Keep in air tight containers; it will last for 2 weeks, so you can enjoy guilt-free snacking with this nutritious delight!
You will need
- 40g Food Thoughts Organic Cacao Powder
- 65g Food Thoughts Chocolate Coated Nibs
- 45g chopped hazelnuts
- 70g chopped walnuts
- 50g chopped almonds
- 60g chopped pecans
- 30g sunflower seeds
- 35g pumpkin seeds
- 200g wholegrain oats
- 30g coconut flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 65ml maple syrup or agave syrup
- 80ml melted coconut oil
- Serve with: Coconut yoghurt and fresh berries
Method
Preheating oven to 180C.
In a large bowl combine the coconut oil and maple syrup, and then add the rest of the ingredients.
Mix well so everything is evenly coated and then scatter on a large baking tray.
Bake in the oven for 10 minutes before carefully removing from the oven. Use a fork or spoon to move the granola around, turn it over, and then place back into the oven for 10 minutes more.
Leave to cool before serving with coconut yoghurt and berries. Store the remaining granola in an airtight jar or container and consume within 14 days. Enjoy!
