Homemade pumpkin spice hot chocolates

Homemade pumpkin spice hot chocolates ⁠

Use our make ahead spiced hot chocolate mix to make the ultimate warming and comforting hot drink. ⁠

To make the spice mix, which you can then store in an airtight jar and use to make multiple hot chocolates, you'll need to combine:⁠
- 60g Food Thoughts Organic Cocoa Powder or Cacao Powder⁠
- 50g Dark 70% Cacao Chocolate Discs (finely chopped)⁠
- 1/2 tsp Ground cloves⁠
- 1/4 tsp Ground ginger⁠
- 1/2 tsp Ground nutmeg⁠
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon⁠
- 2 tsp Vanilla sugar⁠

To make each hot chocolate, you'll need:⁠
- 250ml Milk⁠
- 1 Dessertspoon of Spiced Hot Chocolate Mix⁠
- 1 Dessertspoon (level) of pumpkin puree - fresh or tinned (make sure this is 100% pumpkin puree and not pumpkin pie filling!)⁠
- Whipped Cream and Food Thoughts 100% Organic Cocoa Powder to finish (optional)⁠

To make:⁠
- Pour your milk into a microwaveable jug. Add the Spiced Hot Chocolate Mix and pumpkin puree. Stir thoroughly.⁠
- Heat in the microwave in 30 second increments until all ingredients are melted and the liquid is hot. Stir regularly to make sure all ingredients are blended.⁠
- Pour the drink into a mug or hot chocolate glasses. Top with whipped cream and sieved Food Thoughts Organic Cocoa Powder. ⁠
